Art Exhibition

We were learning to sketch and draw a kiwis for the Art Exhibition.
We practiced drawing kiwis we drew about 3 or 4 kiwis. After we practiced drawing kiwis for a little while we did our last one that we were going to trace around it. Soon after we did that we went round in pastel and then we dyed our kiwis. We dyed our kiwis blue and red and green and yellow. We did the backgrounds the same colour. I thought that my kiwi looked real. I had so much fun! We were ready for the Art Exhibition. It was tricky because we had to draw 4 kiwis but we got there in the end.

Poem Recitation

I was learning to present a poem in front of an audience.

I can  project my voice so that everyone can hear me.

I can remember my poem of by heart.

I can speak in a clear voice so everyone can hear me.

I felt nervous I was saying my poem because everyone was watching me.

Volcanoes

 I was learning to compare and contrast different volcanoes. I can talk about the shape of volcanoes. I can describe what it looks like. I can talk about the lava flow of the eruption. It was easy because we have been learning about volcanoes in class.

Narrrative Writing

 I was learning to write a narrative piece of writing. I can talk about the setting, the characters and the plot. It was easy because we learnt about the characters, the setting and the plot. I learnt how to make it interesting.

Telling The Time

I was learning to read o clock times' and half past times on a analog clock. I can read o clock on a analog clock.I can read half past times on a analog clock. It was easy because we learnt about time on the mat.

Division

I was learning to understand division by equal sharing.I can share objects equally into groups.It was easy because we have been learning to do equal sharing.

Writing Instructions

I was learning to write instruction.I can use a of verbs in my instructions.I can put my instructions in the right order. It was easy because I knew what order to put the instructions in.
