I am learning to read a bar graph and answer questions

I need to:

*read the question

*read the data (information) on the graph

*identify the lowest (fewest) and highest (most) bars

*read the quantities

*compare the data on the graph

*answer questions about the data (information) on the graph

Chloe-The purple one has the most games and he 10 games. The green one has the fewest games and he has 6 games.

My Reflection 
I am learning to do bar graphs.
It can be tricky to read the small writing.
I am proud that I got this finished.
The next step for me might be to read the names more clearly.
The teacher could help me by learning the names.

I am learning to use capital letters correctly:

I use a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence.

I use a capital letter for the word ‘I.’

I use a capital letter for names of things.

I am learning to use full stops correctly:

I use a full stop at the end of a sentence.

My Refletion

It can be tricky to do lots of words.
I am proud of my writing.

Welcome to my Learning Journey for 2018. 

I am in Year 2 in Room 7 and my teacher is Mrs Beach.

Adding on from 5

I am learning to keep 5 in my head and add on.  This game is called Murtle Turtle and it reminds me to count on from a number.

Reading Eggs

I am learning to sound out 3 letter words by saying all the sounds and blending them together.  Reading Eggs helps me to reinforce my learning.

" I can put the letters in the correct box in the activity on Reading Eggs." said Chloe

Acrostic poem

I am learning how to write an acrostic poem.  I know that I start each sentence with a letter of the subject.  I wrote about myself. 

"I think my writing is beautiful and neat. I don't do race car writing now. It is tricky to do c and k words, because they sound the same but have different letters."

Bird pillow

For our Art Exhibition this year we learnt how to sketch a bird.  The final drawing was transferred onto calico and dye was added.  The bird was glued onto a pillow that Mrs Scott and Mrs Worsfold had sewn.  Don't they look great!
